So this is the first entry in a long time. I am here to complain about school. About it's restrictions on our supple high school brains and the biast things they are engraving upon them. We took a test thing in Mr. Perry's class that showed what your political beliefs are. Unsuprisingly, about 85% of the class came up Libertarian. How can they possibly be any less? This semester, I am only taking 2 core classes: govt. with perry and english with crowell. That is breeding grounds for socialism. Not that I am against that; I'm pretty sure I would have come out more liberal regardless, but to those like josh mayor who are hard core republican and even the slightest bit conservitive: I feel bad for you. Then there are people who don't know what the heck they stand for but by god, they're going to stand for something. Vicki drives me crazy with her antics on "self induced pregnancy." In conclusion to that subject, school is eating my brain and actually making me stupider (my favorite non-word) rather then improving upon the situation. I have noticed that my grounding has brought about a lovely, 3rd world country pace and sensation about it. Everything moves in a slower pace, especially since I don't have a car. If I want to go somewhere, it generally takes me at least 15 minutes to get there by bike. I ride to the post office about 3 times a week and regardless of what you people say about Lubbock being flat, the ride there says it indeed it not. Lubbock has its illusions, but this is one of the greatest. On the way back from the post office I could do without petaling for 15 blocks straight. Which tells you what it's like going the opposite direction. I don't know why, but I feel like I have to say this right now. To all my closest friends, I love you very much even though I am not exactly too lovable myself. You rock my roos and its great to be around you during these last few weeks of our kid-dom. peace out |
